		<description>Thanks for the practical advice on advice.  Parents can be a boundless source of moral support but I would not trust them to see my career objectively.  Also, it&#039;s a poor practice to stress the bonds of family &amp; friendship with monetary obligations.</description>

Getting tips from others about how to proceed is all well and good, but you&#039;re right that in the end it&#039;s up to you.  If only I had a nickel for every time someone gave me &quot;helpful&quot; advice that I didn&#039;t ask for....</description>
